About
I'm a documentary filmmaker, aerial photographer, and educator based in Savannah, Georgia. Raised between Lebanon, Kuwait, Cyprus, and Greece, I bring a cross-cultural eye to every story I tell.
I earned my MFA in Film and Television at SCAD, where I've worked since 2005. My documentary Beyond Duty follows Lebanese Red Cross volunteers who entered the Nahr al-Bared refugee camp under fire in 2007. My films have screened at festivals worldwide.
Today I photograph the coast, cities, and landmarks of the Southeast from the air. My current series, Persistent Structures, pairs aerial photographs of Savannah taken fifteen years apart, in 2010 and 2025. The question behind it is simple: what endures when a city reinvents itself? From above, the street-level stories fall away, and the buildings can be read as systems. What comes through is a record of quiet resistance: form holding its ground while the city changes around it.
That question is personal for me. I know what it means to face pressure meant to wear you down, and to keep standing. It runs through all of my work.
Whatever the project, my goal stays the same: to find the extraordinary inside the ordinary.
